科研方面，大一进入实验室，参与导师团队藕塘重金属相关项目；大二、大三则有了自己的项目，即主持校级科技创新基金项目“武汉城市土壤黑碳光谱曲线特征及其空间分布规律研究”。通过小组成员一致努力，这一项目已于前不久申请为国创项目。此外，积极通过课程设计、学科竞赛等提升个人科研实力，目前已获取一项实用新型专利（因为是综合面试，所以专业课程和科研经历都讲得比较简单）。
